Itinerary
Welcome to Sri Lanka
You will be met by your guide at the colombo airport and you will be driven to your hotel in Negombo and relax rest of the day. Negombo is a seaside town which is one of very popular beach and famous for its unique sea food, entertainment and golden sandy beach.
Overnight staying in Negombo
After the breakfast you will take to the Negombo fish market. Morning is the best time to visit the market. where you will see the fresh caught selling by the vendors and displaying all the types of fish crabs lobsters and squids.
Then say bye to Negombo and make your drive to Habarana check in to the hotel and get ready for the safari adventure in Minneriya National Park to see large groups of Sri Lankan elephants.
Overnight staying in Habarana
Today you will visit Sigiriya or Lions Rock. This massive rock was a palace complex and a kingdom during the 5th century in Sri Lanka and a UNESCO world heritage site. You can climb the 1200 stairs to see the amazing views of the surrounding jungle, see the 1500 years old paintings, explore the ancient royal garden with your tour guide.
Then visit the Dambulla Cave Temple this UNESCO world heritage site is the largest and best preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. You will see over 150 colourful large statues and collection paintings related to Buddha's life and history of Sri Lanka.
Visit Spice Garden in Matale might yield scents of cinnamon, pepper, cardamom, clove, nutmeg, vanilla and more as you learn the secrets of these valuable spices and their culture.
Attend eveing Kandy Cultural Show to witness colourful traditional costumes and talented performance by dancers. Thereafter you will visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Ralic. This golden roofed temple is the most sacred for the Buddhist in the country and home to the most important Buddhist ralic, a tooth of the Buddha.
Overnight staying in Kandy
After breakfast we say goodbye to Kandy and heading to Nuwara Eliya also known as Little England. On the way visit a Tea Factory and Plantation to see how world famous Ceylon Tea is making and try a cup of tea.
In Nuwara Eliya you will visit the Post Office and send a postcard to your loved ones. Then you will go to Nanu Oya railway station to catch the train to go to Ella.
Overnight staying in Ella
After breakfast you will visit to the famous Nine Arch Bridge a popular tourist destination and remarkable railway engineering miracle. This was constructed entirely ou of solid rocks, bricks, and cement with out using single peace of any steel.
Thereafter heading to Yala for afternoon safari on the way stop at Ravana waterfall.
Afternoon you will head ou on an exciting safari in Yala National Park where you will come across many different native wildlife especially majestic Sri Lankan Leopards and Elephants, Sloth Bears, Wild bows and more…
Overnight staying in Thissamaharama
Today we check out from Thissamaharama and today our destination is Ahungalla a beautiful beach resort. On our way first we going to visit popular Coconut Tree Hill in Mirissa then captures some memories with traditional Stilt Fishermen in Koggala
Visit UNESCO world heritage The Galle Dutch Fort take a walk along the ancient ramparts and old streets its a walk to the glorious colonial past of Sri Lanka.
