Just 5 minutes away next to Ahungalla there is a small costal village called Kosgoda, famous for Sea Turtles. A few conservation centers are run there to protect endangered sea turtle species. The main goal of the hatchery is to conserve the endangered sea turtles by protecting their eggs, hatching baby turtles, and later releasing them into the ocean. Visitors can get up close to different species of turtles and learn about the amazing creatures and about their conservation.
